There are some outstanding restaurants within walking distance, and the heart of Bangkok’s action is easy to reach. If medical care is needed, one of Bangkok’s top international hospitals (like Samitivej) is not far away. We wanted to go out for dinner, but no taxis would allow pets, so we reluctantly left our furry companions at the villa. When we returned, my dog had somehow torn off the bottom door panel and escaped. Panic set in—I was overwhelmed, scared, and completely lost in the unfamiliar neighborhood.
