The beds were super comfortable, and I slept like a log throughout the night. Common areas are well-designed: there’s a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, plus a cozy lounge area perfect for relaxing or hanging out with fellow travelers. At under $200 per person, this price point is an absolute steal for the quality and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I forgot to take interior photos, but the space matches the app images exactly—clean, bright, and thoughtfully laid out. Highly recommend for budget-conscious travelers who still want comfort and convenience.

Staying at Next House Copenhagen was an absolute delight. The hostel is incredibly well-located—just a short walk from Central Station, and within easy reach of key attractions like the Architecture Center and the iconic Black Diamond Library. Despite being in a bustling city area, it feels surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The rooftop kitchen is a standout feature—spacious, clean, and with stunning views that make cooking or just relaxing a real pleasure. I was happy to find that the tap water is safe to drink, which is a big plus. There are two washing machines and two dryers available, each costing just 20 tokens per use—affordable and convenient. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully designed, from the layout to the amenities. It’s rare to find such a great balance of location, comfort, and value. Definitely my top choice for future visits to Copenhagen.

Located a bit of a walk from the central station—about 30 minutes on foot, plus another 10 if you're hauling luggage—the price justifies every bit of it. This place is far superior to typical capsule-style accommodations: the sleeping space is spacious enough to comfortably unpack your bags, and the soundproofing is impressive—no noise from guests above at all. Shower stalls are rarely in demand, and having a microwave and oven makes cooking your own meals super easy, saving a lot on dining costs. There’s a large supermarket, Fortax, right in front, plus three 7-Elevens along the way, and countless dining options nearby. The sauna is a real highlight—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Free luggage storage is an added bonus, especially helpful when exploring the city. The front desk staff are polite and always ready to assist, making the entire stay feel welcoming. Overall, this hotel left me with a very positive impression of Copenhagen, and I’d definitely stay here again.

This was a lucky break—our flight got canceled, and we found this place at the last minute. The hosts were incredibly responsive, and the location is perfect. The room is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the living area is stunning—photos here don’t even do it justice. It’s close to everything you need but just far enough away from noise to enjoy a peaceful stay. The 31 bus from the airport stops right outside the door—super convenient. All the guests were friendly and welcoming, except for one guy who didn’t acknowledge anyone, slammed his door, and mumbled to himself. 😁 The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a huge plus since Copenhagen can be pricey—cooking our own meals saved us a lot, especially with three meals a day. We’ll definitely book again now that we know it’s here—and next time, we’ll stay longer.
a&o Copenhagen Nørrebro
Having stayed at the a&o location in the Czech Republic, I did compare this one in Copenhagen. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful—great service. One thing I really liked in the Czech branch was the separate bathroom and shower areas, which made things much more convenient. That's something I missed here in Copenhagen—when someone’s using the shower or toilet, the other facility becomes unavailable, which can be frustrating. Another small issue both locations share is that some power outlets and lights near the windows seem to have loose connections; they occasionally cut out mid-use. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the location is excellent—right in Nørrebro, super close to the metro, and just a short ride into the city center. Clean rooms, good value for money, and ideal for budget travelers who want comfort without the high price. Definitely worth a stay.
