Staying at Guide Hotel Taipei Chongqing was an absolute delight! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a room with a window and a bathtub—such a pleasant surprise. The space was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it perfect for relaxing after a long day. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to cozy cafes and local breakfast spots that are open early. In the evening, you can easily stroll over to a lively night market just steps away, where I enjoyed delicious street food and great vibes. Everything is within walking distance, and the hotel’s friendly service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this gem if you’re visiting Taipei!

The room was spacious enough to unpack two suitcases easily, and I really appreciated the bathroom with separate dry and wet zones plus a bathtub—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only minor downside is that soundproofing isn’t ideal; you can hear some noise from neighboring rooms. Also, the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7, so there’s a short wait if you need to drop off or pick up luggage outside regular hours. Still, these small drawbacks don’t take away from the excellent value and comfort this hotel offers—especially for travelers looking for a clean, well-located base without breaking the bank.

The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Taipei Main Station and only 5 minutes away from Ningxia Night Market—perfect for grabbing some delicious local street food. The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a great vibe overall. The breakfast buffet was fantastic—huge variety of options, both Western and Asian dishes, so you never run out of choices. One small note: the bathtub doesn’t have a curtain or glass partition, so water tends to splash all over the bathroom floor when showering. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to wet floors. But honestly, this tiny detail didn’t ruin the experience. With its excellent location, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch breakfast, this place offers amazing value. I’d definitely stay here again.

This was my first time visiting Taipei Songshan Airport, and since this hotel is conveniently located near TICC (Taipei 101), I decided to stay here—and I’m so glad I did! The walk from the airport takes just about 10 minutes, which is perfect—no long rides or hassle with luggage. The neighborhood feels safe and well-lit, even at night. There are two 7-Elevens and one FamilyMart nearby, making it super convenient for snacks, drinks, or last-minute essentials. The nearest MRT station, Zhongshan Elementary School, is just a 2-minute walk away—ideal for getting around the city. Check-in is available via an automated kiosk outside the entrance, but staff also assist inside if needed—smooth and efficient. The room itself is spacious enough for a comfortable stay, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Right outside the hotel, there’s a bus stop with multiple routes: Bus 4 and Bus 63 (to Taipei Main Station) run frequently, and the fare is a flat 15 NTD—great value. With its unbeatable location, great transport links, and excellent service, I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a smart, stress-free base in Taipei.
