Staying at Novotel Barcelona City was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—right next to a large shopping mall, so dining, shopping, and exploring were all just steps away. The room was spacious and well-designed, with everything you’d need: comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, and modern amenities. Everything felt clean, functional, and thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out was the staff—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile without being pushy, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. For a city trip where convenience and comfort matter, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.
Mercure Barcelona Condor
We booked the Mercure Barcelona Condor as part of a local tour package through a travel platform, and since it was confirmed locally, we decided to arrive a day early. The check-in experience was excellent—friendly staff, smooth process, and a warm welcome. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, with a cozy café and a small grocery store right downstairs. This made grabbing snacks or morning coffee super convenient. Breakfast was well-rounded and satisfying, offering everything we needed for a good start to the day. The room was very quiet at night—perfect for a restful sleep. The bathroom was spacious by city standards, which was a pleasant surprise. What really stood out was the New Year’s Eve celebration: on December 31st, 2025, the hotel gave each guest 12 grapes, allowing us to take part in the traditional Spanish countdown. It added such a fun, authentic touch to our stay. We stayed four nights and felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout. The overall experience reminded me so much of staying at other Mercure hotels back home in China—consistent quality, reliable service, and great value. This trip was truly memorable, and I’d definitely recommend this property.

Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—especially the Spanish ham, which I enjoyed every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. And the neighborhood? Incredible. Right next to the cathedral, we had endless dining options: great tapas, authentic Chinese food, seafood paella, Vietnamese dishes, and more—all within walking distance. Getting around town was also super affordable; Uber rides in the city center cost just 10–15€, or even less. Public transport was convenient too. Overall, this hotel offers unbeatable value, convenience, and charm. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.

The location is ideal: right on a busy street with shops, cafes, and supermarkets nearby, so everything we needed was within reach. There’s also a large shopping complex right around the corner, offering everything from dining to retail, which adds great convenience. The neighborhood itself is quiet, safe, and very residential—perfect for a peaceful stay without being far from the city buzz. This was hands down my favorite stay during our trip to Spain—out of four different hotels we stayed at, this one stood out in every way. The room was a perfect size with twin beds that worked great for two travelers sharing the space. I genuinely wish we could’ve extended our stay! The apartment came with a small kitchen, a cozy seating area, and a charming little patio where we enjoyed quiet evenings with wine or just reading a book. It’s super convenient—just a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia metro station and surrounded by great restaurants. The morning breakfast was a sweet surprise, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. I’d absolutely come back for a longer visit next time—maybe even upgrade to the larger room with a terrace. Special thanks to Ms. Delores for the warm welcome and the thoughtful breakfast. The two-bedroom suite was spacious and perfect for a family trip—plenty of room to move around, and the small kitchenette came fully equipped with cookware and dishes, making it easy to prepare meals on-site. The bathroom with the shower was a real highlight—great water pressure and a comfortable layout that made for a relaxing morning routine. Daily housekeeping was excellent: rooms were cleaned every day, and towels were changed regularly, which really showed how clean and well-maintained everything was. Located in the Eixample district, the hotel is in a safe, central area—walking distance to major attractions, shopping spots, and restaurants. On our last day, we left our luggage at the front desk, and the staff went above and beyond by helping us call a taxi to the airport. Their friendly attitude and genuine care made all the difference. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and exceptional service—highly recommend for families or travelers looking for a home-like stay in Barcelona.
