InterContinental Qingdao
Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.
Sky World Hotel
The room was surprisingly spacious with a great sense of openness—so comfortable and relaxing! What stood out most was how close it was to popular attractions like the Beer Museum and Yinyu Lane. A short taxi ride or easy subway access made exploring the city super convenient. I was originally booked into another hotel that unexpectedly closed, but the platform kindly upgraded me to this one—what a delightful surprise! The staff were friendly, the place was spotless, and the value for money was outstanding. If you're visiting Qingdao, this is definitely a top choice. I’d happily stay here again.

This trip to Qingdao was my gift to myself on my 60th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The highlight? Staying at Qingdao Haitian Hotel — an absolute gem from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team greeted us warmly, and our room was thoughtfully decorated for my birthday with a cute plush toy, soft lighting, and a little heart-shaped balloon — such a sweet surprise. Winnie Xiao Li, the guest relations officer, sent daily morning messages with helpful tips and reminders, always ready to assist via WeChat. Any concerns were addressed promptly and clearly, making everything feel effortless. They even noticed how important hydration is when traveling, so they delivered plenty of bottled water throughout our stay — no more dry mouth or discomfort. Since our train back was in the evening, they kindly extended our check-out time, giving us extra time to enjoy swimming and dining without rushing. When it came time to leave, our luggage was already packed and waiting, perfectly synced with our ride-hailing service — seamless and stress-free. The housekeeping staff, especially Yan Shuya, showed incredible attention to detail — she noticed I like using hand cream and left a small premium bottle just for me. That kind of personal touch really stood out. At the 7th-floor infinity pool, lifeguard Zhao Chunyang was not only professional and safety-conscious but also took great photos for us — friendly and reliable. The breakfast staff in the 1988 All-Day Dining restaurant were cheerful and efficient, moving quickly between tables during peak hours while keeping things clean and welcoming. Their double-sided table signs (showing 'occupied' and 'available') prevented any awkward moments when grabbing food. The fruit bar was constantly replenished by staff who monitored usage and freshened up the display on the spot — absolutely impressive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: walking distance to Wusi Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and the famous Badaguan scenic area. A short taxi ride gets you to Qingdao Railway Station within 15 minutes. Around the hotel, there are tons of great local eateries — both in Hai Tian Mall and GT Plaza — all offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The rooms were spacious, bright, and beautifully laid out, with stunning sea and city views. American Egris bath amenities added a touch of luxury. The lobby is grand and modern, and the 7th-floor infinity pool offers breathtaking ocean vistas — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view. Overall, this stay exceeded every expectation. Not only did the hotel earn my loyalty, but I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. If I ever return to Qingdao, there’s only one place I’ll consider: Qingdao Haitian Hotel.

Another front desk agent was cheerful and full of personality—she even cracked a few jokes that brightened up the whole experience. The team’s friendliness and attention to detail truly stood out. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt personal and genuine. This place isn’t just clean and well-located—it’s the people who make it special. The location is absolutely perfect—right next to Shuangshan Metro Station Exit D, just turn around and there’s Homeinn Hotel. It truly feels like home! You can reach Qingdao Railway Station and Qingdao North Station directly via metro with no transfers needed—super convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Getting to major attractions around the city is a breeze. Across the street is Kindergarten Plaza, offering plenty of dining options and shopping choices. The staff are friendly, courteous, and always willing to help—great hospitality that made our stay even more enjoyable. Clean rooms, reliable service, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely book again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Qingdao.

This was my second stay at LiYuan Apartment, and I’m happy to say it lived up to the great first impression. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly via WeChat throughout the entire process, which made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. I really appreciate how approachable and responsive the host was; they even shared some local tips on where to grab a bite or explore nearby. It’s such a nice change from the usual impersonal booking systems. I did forget to take photos of the room (oops!), but I’ve got plenty of fun shots from our time exploring the area around Maida Island. Miduo Apartment (Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center)
Stayed with my roommate for a fun weekend getaway, and we booked the new Chinese-style three-bedroom apartment—so glad we did! The photos online were spot-on; the actual place matched the pictures almost perfectly. The living room is warm and inviting, with beautiful wooden details and two large mirrors that made it perfect for selfies and casual photoshoots. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center, and super convenient for getting around via subway.
