Right next to the Capitol—can't beat that location! I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t book a second night, but honestly, totally understandable given how popular this place is. The convenience of being steps away from Austin’s historic Capitol building is unbeatable. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable—perfect for a short stay in the heart of downtown. Great value, excellent service, and such a welcoming vibe. Definitely planning to return.

The stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Austin Downtown was very comfortable overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the location made it easy to get around downtown Austin—just a short walk or quick ride away from major attractions. However, one issue stands out: we were asked to pay a $100 deposit upon check-in, with a promise that it would be refunded within four days. It's now been 25 days, and the refund still hasn't arrived. I've reached out to the platform multiple times for assistance, hoping this can be resolved soon. Would appreciate any support in getting this matter settled.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown
I was a bit hesitant after reading some mixed reviews about cleanliness and noise levels, but my stay turned out to be excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was spotless and generously sized. We were on the 8th floor, and despite being near a highway and some lively bars, we didn’t hear any disturbance at all—truly peaceful. The convenience of having a parking garage directly connected to the hotel made everything so much easier, even if the rate was $48. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I’d absolutely book here again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I received two complimentary evening drink vouchers upon check-in—perfect even for solo travelers. The burger at the lobby bar was surprisingly delicious and definitely worth a try. Staff were attentive and friendly, offering helpful recommendations without being pushy. On one occasion, the air conditioning stopped working around 11 PM—I called the front desk and someone arrived within 10 minutes to fix it, which was impressive. Breakfast was excellent: fresh, varied, and satisfying. The only downside was that one of the three elevators was out of service for three days straight, and another occasionally didn’t work. However, these issues didn’t significantly impact my stay. Overall, the hospitality, comfort, and value make this a standout choice. I’d happily return.
