Our stay at Hotel 50 was absolutely fantastic! Located right in the heart of Chinatown, it’s perfect for exploring the area and enjoying delicious, affordable Chinese cuisine just steps from the door. The front desk team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—check-in was quick and effortless. We booked a corner room on the sixth floor, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with amazing city views that made every morning feel special. The rooftop area is charming, though slightly smaller than it appeared in photos—still a great spot to unwind with a drink at sunset. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, especially considering the location and quality. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.

Staying at Hotel Mulberry was a great experience overall. While it’s a bit farther from the station, the affordable rate made it a perfect budget-friendly choice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby—no need to worry about finding food, whether it’s breakfast or dinner. My flight back was late at night, so I was glad they offered luggage storage after check-in, though there’s an extra fee if you arrive after 7 PM—just plan ahead. The in-room TV had access to YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice bonus for relaxing after a long day. Storage space was well thought out too—the closet and drawers were spacious and convenient. One highlight was Big Wong just steps away from the hotel; it opens early in the morning and serves delicious, affordable meals—definitely worth a visit.

What really stood out was the price—way more affordable than other hotels in the area, without compromising on comfort. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in and any requests a breeze. I’m genuinely sad to hear it’s closed now. If it were still open, I’d definitely come back. For a no-frills, practical stay with a great location and excellent value, this place is hard to beat.
