During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. He even explained the medical reasoning behind it! That level of thoughtfulness and knowledge stood out. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and professional. The hotel itself isn’t huge, so you can easily explore it without feeling overwhelmed. Our room was spacious and well-proportioned, with two single beds and a sofa that converted into an extra bed—perfect for three of us, and we all slept comfortably. We upgraded in-house for a small fee to a higher-floor lake-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the calm, glass-like surface of Jinji Lake instantly lifted our mood. Dining was a bit tricky—we didn’t pre-book the Chinese restaurant, and every seating was fully booked. We tried the buffet instead, which was solid but nothing extraordinary.
