Hotel Catedral

Staying at Hotel Catedral was an unforgettable experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with just a slightly small window—nothing that detracts from the overall charm. What truly sets this place apart is the lobby, which is built right over an ancient archaeological site. Walking through it feels like stepping into history, with the rich atmosphere of centuries-old culture surrounding you. Located just steps away from the Metropolitan Cathedral and the main square, every moment feels immersive in Mexico City’s heart. Plus, the metro station is only a 5-minute walk—perfect for getting around the city without hassle. It's not just a hotel; it's a unique cultural stay that delivers exceptional value and convenience.

Hotel Punto MX

Staying at Hotel Punto MX was an absolute highlight of my trip to Mexico City. I booked a room with a bathtub, and it exceeded all my expectations—spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The hotel is perfectly located near Zócalo Square, surrounded by historic sites, restaurants, and easy access to public transit. Whether you're craving fast food or local eats, there's something for everyone nearby: McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, and even a Sukiya—all within walking distance. A supermarket is just around the corner, making daily essentials super convenient. What really surprised me was the staff’s language skills; one front desk agent spoke fluent Japanese, which totally caught me off guard! Even if English isn’t your strong suit, communication was smooth and welcoming. The room itself was spacious, with excellent shower pressure and consistent water temperature—no sudden spikes or drops. One minor note: the walls are a bit thin, and due to the lively local culture, some noise from neighboring rooms can be heard occasionally. But honestly, that didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Mexico City feels safer than many other major cities in North America, and I’d definitely recommend it to fellow travelers from Japan and beyond. A fantastic choice for comfort, location, and value.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express Mexico Basilica was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable retreat after exploring the city. Cleanliness stood out—everything from the linens to the bathroom felt fresh and well-maintained. I especially loved the breakfast spread: fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, and a great variety of local favorites that made mornings special. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—just steps away from the iconic Mexico City Cathedral, with easy access to public transit and nearby restaurants. Everything you need is within reach, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. City Centro by Marriott Ciudad de México

We stayed at City Centro by Marriott in Mexico City for a holiday and were really impressed with the location—perfectly situated for exploring the city, with great access to public transit and nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to assist us throughout our visit. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. The only issue we encountered was with breakfast. We had booked a room with breakfast included, but the offerings were inconsistent over the three days. On day one, we received just a small piece of toast and a few pieces of fruit—barely enough for an adult. Day two, we were offered a full selection from the main menu, including various egg dishes, which felt much more appropriate. Then on day three, we were back to the minimal breakfast again, which was confusing since we’d expected consistency. Despite this mix-up, the overall experience was outstanding. The hotel’s service, comfort, and location made up for any minor hiccups. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

City Express by Marriott Ciudad de México la Villa

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The location is super convenient—right across from a grocery store, so grabbing snacks or essentials is a breeze. It’s also close to public transit if you’re exploring downtown Mexico City. The room was clean and well-equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and standard toiletries—everything you’d need for a short stay. Breakfast included milk, scrambled eggs, bread, and fresh fruit—simple but satisfying. I didn’t stay long, but the value for money was excellent. If I’m ever in Mexico City again, especially on a quick trip or layover, I’d definitely consider coming back.

Hotel San Lucas

Staying at Hotel San Lucas was an absolute delight. The price is incredibly fair for the quality and location, making it a standout choice. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—always smiling and ready to help. The breakfast buffet was fresh and satisfying, with a nice mix of local flavors that made mornings enjoyable. What really sets this hotel apart is its proximity to the famous Mercado de Artesanías in Mexico City—just a short walk away, perfect for exploring vibrant markets and picking up unique souvenirs. Public transportation is super convenient, with a metro station right outside the door, so getting around the city is seamless. And despite being in a lively area, the rooms are remarkably quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced blend of comfort, convenience, and value. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mexico City—especially travelers who want to be close to culture, shopping, and transit without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Hotel Gillow

Hotel Gillow is perfectly located in the heart of Mexico City's historic district, making it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot. I loved starting my mornings with a jog around the square, listening to the church bells during Mass—such a peaceful way to begin the day. In the evenings, I enjoyed strolling to local street food stalls for a casual drink and some delicious snacks—authentic and vibrant! The metro station is just steps away, so getting around the city is super convenient. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the communal lounge areas on each floor—great for meeting up with fellow travelers or just relaxing. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-organized hotel in this area. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Hotel Roble

Staying at Hotel Roble was an absolute highlight of my trip to Mexico City. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to Constitution Square, with the Metro Line 2 (Zócalo station) right there for easy access. From here, you're within a 10-minute stroll of major attractions like the National Palace and the iconic Metropolitan Cathedral. Even though the room is compact, it’s spotlessly clean, comfortable, and secure—perfect for a city stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the on-site restaurant; the food was fresh, flavorful, and offered great value. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent quality and convenience at a reasonable price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City—it’s truly a gem in the heart of the city.

Staying at Hotel Seoul in Mexico City was a great experience overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, making it feel more like a home away from home. Its location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the metro station, which made getting around the city super easy. I especially appreciated the affordable price for the quality and location offered. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. While some of the facilities are a bit dated, cleanliness wasn’t an issue—the room was spotless and well-maintained.
