The only downside is the lack of on-site parking, which makes navigating in and out via the service road a bit risky. Still, the hotel’s charm, comfort, and excellent service more than make up for it. A standout choice for travelers seeking a personalized, high-quality stay.

My stay at LBD Resorts & Hotels in Kolkata wasn’t quite up to expectations. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor—almost like an old storage space—and both the blanket and one of the pillows carried the same smell, which was quite off-putting. The bed frame looked dirty, and there was visible grime on the floor, making me question the overall cleanliness. The air conditioning was unreliable—it would turn on and off randomly, barely providing any consistent cooling. It was frustrating, especially during the warmer hours. On a brighter note, the breakfast was decent, with fresh fruits that added a nice touch. While this was the only positive highlight, it wasn’t enough to offset the other issues. I’d hesitate to recommend this property unless major improvements are made in hygiene and maintenance.
