The lobby is located on the 7th floor, and stepping out of the elevator, you're immediately greeted by warm air conditioning and a very welcoming staff who handed me a cup of hot tea—such a nice touch. My room was on the 8th floor, and there’s a secure access control at the corridor entrance, which gives peace of mind knowing your privacy and safety are well protected. The room itself was spotless and beautifully modern, with fresh, youthful decor and brand-new furnishings. The mattress stood out—excellent support and super comfortable for a good night’s sleep. I was especially impressed by the service: the front desk agent, Lemon Tea Z, was incredibly attentive and even upgraded me to a better room in the same category—no extra charge! First time in Chengdu and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay — right next to Taikoo Li, with the iconic 3D LED screen just across the street, always buzzing with people filming content. Taikoo Li itself is a high-end boutique shopping street, home to a 1,400-year-old temple, Da Cisi, adding a unique cultural vibe. The hotel is super convenient — just steps from Metro Lines 2 and 3, or you can walk straight through the underground passage beside the hotel to reach the mall. Personally, that route felt smoother and faster. The building has floor access control, but since it’s a mixed-use residential-commercial space, there are often people waiting for the elevator, so if you’re in a rush, plan ahead. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. Room amenities were excellent: plenty of outlets, fast Wi-Fi, reliable Daikin HVAC system, washer with detergent included, plus a coffee maker and tea bags (the tea was surprisingly good!). Daily mineral water refills made life easy. The projector TV worked well — just use the remote to adjust focus if needed. One small downside: TV channels weren’t as varied as expected. It seems regional content is limited, and the streaming box requires an account to access. That part needs a quick chat with the manager to sort out. But honestly, these are minor gripes. For the location, comfort, and service, this place delivers top-tier value. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Chengdu.
