We were originally worried we wouldn’t be able to book three consecutive nights during New Year’s peak season since the hotel was fully booked—but the front desk team went above and beyond to secure our stay, even offering a great rate so we could stay without having to switch hotels. On one night, the air conditioning unit in the room was too hot, causing discomfort for my child who ended up with a nosebleed. Without hesitation, they immediately upgraded us to a better room and kept checking in until we were completely satisfied. That level of care truly stood out. To top it off, we received a cute panda-themed gift when checking out—such a sweet farewell gesture. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If I ever return to Chengdu, this will be my first choice.

Upon arrival, the front desk team — Xiangyu and Jinlan — immediately noticed our situation and went out of their way to help us find nearby SIM card services and ATMs. Our rooms were on a lower floor, but they not only upgraded us at no extra cost, they also thoughtfully grouped our rooms together, which made things much easier for our elderly family member. The cleanliness throughout the room was impressive — every surface was spotless, from the bathroom to the bedding. You can tell the staff truly care about details. The noodle dish at the 9th-floor restaurant stood out — authentic local flavor, delicious and satisfying. Located right in the heart of Chengdu, it’s just a short walk to Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, and Tianfu Square — perfect for exploring. Even the checkout experience was warm: we received a thoughtful little gift as a farewell. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay unforgettable. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just steps from Exit H of Niuwangmiao Metro Station, with easy walking access to Sichuan University Museum and Wangjianglou Park.
