The bedding felt luxurious, matching what you’d expect from a five-star hotel, and the bath products had a subtle, pleasant scent that left hair feeling smooth and fresh. What truly sets this place apart is its history—it’s actually a restored manor house from over 200 years ago, with original beams, carved woodwork, and an authentic classical ambiance that makes every moment feel special. We ended up canceling our original booking and extended our stay by three more nights. Plus, when we traveled to Dujiangyan or Jiuzhaigou, they happily stored our luggage. On our return, there was a mix-up with the room assignment, but the team handled it instantly—offering a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private hot tub.
