What’s great about public transport in Denmark? No matter if you’re on the train or the metro, the fare is flat: 24 DKK for adults, 12 DKK for children, regardless of how many stops you travel. Exit the station, turn left, cross the bridge, and the hotel is the tall building on your right. The lobby feels like a little forest—very unique and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with lots of options. Across the street is Fields shopping mall, packed with dining choices. We went up to the second floor and had dinner at a Thai restaurant—authentic flavors, though prices are noticeably higher than in Asia. Our family stayed in a large double bed room, which worked perfectly since we’d researched ahead: many hotels in Denmark only offer 1.3m or 1.5m beds, which would’ve been too tight for three people. This one had a spacious 1.8m bed—ideal. There’s a Burger King right downstairs, and nearby, the mall has plenty of food spots, plus a big supermarket—super convenient. We stayed five nights, then moved to a self-catering apartment for the next leg of our trip. But this first stay was outstanding—excellent location, thoughtful service, and great value. Highly recommend for families traveling with younger kids.

Scandic Sydhavnen

Staying at Scandic Sydhavnen was a highlight of my trip to Copenhagen. There’s also a supermarket and several restaurants nearby, making daily needs easy to handle. And during summer, the air conditioning kept things cool and comfortable. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and value—definitely a top choice for future visits.

Staying at Andersen Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight! Just a 5-minute walk from Central Station, and the airport is easily accessible too. The metro station is right nearby, making it super convenient to explore the city—plus, you can even walk straight to Strøget if you fancy a stroll. The room is compact, but incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out were the staff—they were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond with personal touches like the evening wine hour and the self-serve coffee bar. I especially loved the little cookies and candies placed by the staircase; such a sweet, unexpected detail that made me smile every time I passed by. It’s clear this hotel cares about creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for travelers who value charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

I always stay at this hotel whenever I visit Copenhagen—it’s my go-to choice. Located right next to Bella Center, it’s incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The modern design stands out, with spacious rooms and a sleek aesthetic that reflects the quality you’d expect from a Marriott property. Safety is top-notch, which gives peace of mind, especially when traveling solo or with family. While the nightly rate is around 1,000+ DKK, the value is solid: well-maintained facilities, excellent service from friendly staff, and easy access to public transport—making it simple to explore the city or attend events at the nearby convention center. Whether you’re here for work or sightseeing, this hotel delivers a comfortable, hassle-free experience.
