Staying at the InterContinental Perth City Centre was an excellent experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a particularly comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a selection of individual items, which was great for customization, though the hot soups weren’t as warm or satisfying as expected. One minor downside: basic toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush, and comb weren’t provided—guests need to bring their own. While this might seem small, it’s something worth considering for future stays. All in all, the hotel delivers strong value for money, especially given its prime location and high-quality service. Definitely recommend for travelers looking for a reliable, central base in Perth.

There’s also a great local kebab spot nearby, perfect for a quick bite. The only downsides are that the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes due to their plastic reduction policy, so bring your own. Also, there’s a nightclub directly across from the hotel, so if your room faces the main road, you might hear some weekend noise—but it wasn’t loud enough to disrupt sleep.
