Staying at Althea Inn Roof Terrace in Rome was one of the most delightful surprises of my trip. I always prefer centrally located 4- to 5-star accommodations, and this place absolutely delivered. Located just a short walk from the Piramide district theater, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city—especially if you’re into live performances. The breakfast was brought right to my room, and I enjoyed it lounging in my pajamas on the lush rooftop terrace. It felt like a private retreat. Special thanks to Carish, whose endless kindness and warm presence made me feel truly pampered. The room itself was spotless, beautifully designed with elegant touches, and the bathroom stood out—especially the powerful side shower jets that gave me an invigorating spa-like experience. The management went above and beyond by checking in multiple times to ensure my stay was perfect. But the real gem? The rooftop garden. Lush greenery, cozy seating, and even a little bird singing nearby—it felt like nature had found its way into the heart of Rome. And with fantastic restaurants just steps away, what else could I possibly ask for? This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a memorable experience.

Its location is perfect: just a short walk to Ponte Lungo Metro Station (Line A), making it easy to explore Rome without relying on taxis. Originally part of the former Sheraton, this property has transformed into a high-end business hotel with exceptional quality. We stopped by for lunch and were thoroughly impressed—the cuisine was refined, using premium ingredients and presented with meticulous attention to detail. The dining experience matched the hotel’s upscale standards perfectly. We also had the chance to explore the spa and fitness center, both of which are top-tier in terms of facilities and ambiance. The indoor pool is set to open soon, and I have no doubt it will become another highlight. This place truly delivers on every level—elegant, luxurious, and highly memorable.
