There was no Wi-Fi available at all, which is unacceptable in today’s world. The door didn’t close properly, leaving gaps that let in drafts and compromised privacy. The bedding was stained with cigarette burns, visibly dirty, and outdated. There was even a hole in the wall—this level of neglect is shocking. Most concerning was the lack of a fire detector, raising serious safety concerns. The overall condition is poor, management seems indifferent, and the experience was far below any reasonable expectation. This place doesn’t deserve a single star.

The room was directly facing the street, with windows so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see outside. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—so intense that we checked out after just five minutes and paid extra for a new hotel. The location is far from downtown New Orleans, making it inconvenient for tourists. As a young couple, we found this stay extremely unsatisfying and not worth the price. It would be completely impractical for families too. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities.
