Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—so intense that we checked out after just five minutes and paid extra for a new hotel. The location is far from downtown New Orleans, making it inconvenient for tourists. As a young couple, we found this stay extremely unsatisfying and not worth the price. It would be completely impractical for families too. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities.

But what truly sets this B&B apart is Glenn’s genuine warmth and personal touch—he takes real interest in guest comfort and serves up a delicious, custom breakfast each morning that changes daily. From the Roman statues and ornate planters to the thick greenery framing the pool, every corner feels like a scene from a dream. Honestly, just for the peace and beauty of it, this place is worth a trip to New Orleans all by itself.
