For the price and location, this hotel offers exceptional value and a great base for any trip to Boston.

The host was incredibly kind and attentive, going out of her way to help with any request we had. A few minor quirks: the floors and doors creak quite a bit—expected in an older building, but we were mindful not to disturb neighbors below. The heating didn’t work properly during a few chilly nights, but we reported it right away, and the host confirmed HVAC would be checked after our departure. While air conditioning isn’t common in colder northern climates (and honestly, we wouldn’t expect it here), it did feel a bit snug on the coldest day. Still, that’s just part of the seasonal reality up north. Overall, this place offers a warm, welcoming vibe, great location, and excellent value.
