The dorm rooms are spacious and clean, though the mattress is quite firm—something to keep in mind if you prefer a softer sleep surface. At 1,200 JPY per night, it's on the higher end for a hostel, but breakfast is included, and with limited dining options around, that makes the price feel fair. It’s a solid choice for travelers who value location, cleanliness, and a little extra comfort without stepping out of budget.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos to share, but if you’re looking for a cozy, authentic stay in Kolkata with great hospitality and a genuine local touch, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a memorable and stress-free experience.

The hotel's online photos are completely misleading—what you see isn't what you get. The room and bathroom were filthy, and the TV didn’t work at all. When I arrived, the front desk staff were unfriendly and couldn’t locate my booking despite having reserved in advance through their partner platform. They demanded extra payment, which was unacceptable. The location is poorly managed—no proper parking facility, just roadside spots with no guarantee of availability. It’s risky and inconvenient. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. I won’t be returning, and I definitely don’t recommend this property to anyone.

Saunak and Bijoy were especially helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to assist with any request. The overall atmosphere is clean, modern, and inviting. If you're looking for a hotel that delivers excellent value and top-tier service in Kolkata, this is definitely the place to stay. Highly recommend!

The morning front desk manager was incredibly rude when I tried to pay with a credit card—he outright refused and told me to use cash or Google Pay, with no explanation or courtesy. That alone set a negative tone. The food was terrible—after eating, I suffered from severe diarrhea, which clearly indicates poor hygiene standards. Room service was equally awful; I ordered items multiple times but never received them on time, if at all. The overall experience was far below what you’d expect for the price, especially since there are better options available at the same rate. If you’re considering this hotel, take a moment to check the manager’s photo—his attitude is a red flag. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have no other choice.

The hotel is completely unlivable and bears no resemblance to the photos. It's located right next to a train station, where the first train arrives at 3:45 AM with loud horns and whistles that startle you awake. The last train departs at 12:30 AM, meaning constant noise throughout the night. The room itself is outdated, poorly maintained, and lacks basic comfort. The entire experience was extremely disappointing—definitely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here for any reason.

The air conditioning was unreliable—it would turn on and off randomly, barely providing any consistent cooling. It was frustrating, especially during the warmer hours. On a brighter note, the breakfast was decent, with fresh fruits that added a nice touch. While this was the only positive highlight, it wasn’t enough to offset the other issues. I’d hesitate to recommend this property unless major improvements are made in hygiene and maintenance.
