What truly sets this place apart is its history—it’s actually a restored manor house from over 200 years ago, with original beams, carved woodwork, and an authentic classical ambiance that makes every moment feel special. We ended up canceling our original booking and extended our stay by three more nights. Plus, when we traveled to Dujiangyan or Jiuzhaigou, they happily stored our luggage. On our return, there was a mix-up with the room assignment, but the team handled it instantly—offering a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private hot tub. The rooftop beams and old-world architecture were absolutely stunning. Even better, staff went the extra mile by calling my previous hotel to arrange a panda plushie for me.
