What really stood out was their attention to detail: they proactively asked if I preferred a non-smoking floor, which made a huge difference for someone sensitive to odors. The location is unbeatable—right next to Sichuan University, with a lively hot pot restaurant just across the street. The lobby is on the 38th floor, and I was on the 58th—what an incredible view and atmosphere from the moment you step in. From check-in onward, the staff were warm and attentive. The executive perks included afternoon tea and happy hour, both memorable experiences. I especially loved the panda-shaped latte art—so cute I had to grab one every morning. One time I was holding two cups at the juice bar, unsure what to pick, and a staff member immediately came over to ask if I needed help—such great service awareness. Plus, the dry cleaning service made packing and travel so stress-free. This was truly a flawless stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu!

Honestly, I was blown away! We originally booked just one night, but after checking in, we extended for two more nights—so much so that we ended up staying five nights total. The room was spacious and well-designed: the bathroom and walk-in closet were generously sized, with a large desk, a cozy double sofa, and a coffee table perfect for family meals or just relaxing with tea. Everything felt clean and well-maintained—the light-colored carpet looked pristine, no odors at all. As a parent traveling with kids, this kind of hygiene and freshness is everything. The service was exceptional too, especially from Yang Shuang at reception. She noticed we had children right away and immediately gifted us a panda plushie, upgraded our room, and even provided complimentary breakfast for the little ones. It was such a thoughtful touch. Our kids absolutely loved it, and the breakfast spread was fantastic—especially the dan dan noodles, which became a daily must-have. The location couldn’t be better: just 20 meters from the subway station, making travel around Chengdu super easy. A short taxi ride to the airport (about 30 minutes) was affordable, and attractions like Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage were just a few hundred meters away. Right outside the hotel, you’ve got shopping options including Starbucks, a great Sichuan restaurant, luxury brands like Rolex, and more—great taste, great convenience. This trip to Chengdu was unforgettable, and the Renhe Spring Hotel made it even better. Even with a 4:30 AM flight, they happily granted us a late check-out until 2 PM—such a relief! I’ll definitely be back.
Millennium Hotel Chengdu
Staying at Millennium Hotel Chengdu (South Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The room I booked was a scenic view room with plenty of space, and the view across the street to Xianshentree Park was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning light or evening city views. However, the windows were completely non-operable, which made ventilation an issue. I understand safety concerns due to the high floor level, but allowing a small opening would be much more practical than having no airflow at all. The staff were excellent—especially the concierge who helped me collect my package, saving me a lot of time. For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.

Breakfast was diverse and delicious, with plenty of options that even my picky child enjoyed. The only minor issue was the strong fragrance in the lobby—very overpowering, almost overwhelming—but honestly, it’s just a tiny flaw. Everything else was outstanding: comfort, service, location, and value. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
