On day one, I grabbed a sandwich from the 7-Eleven early in the morning, walked to the train station, and caught a stunning sunrise along the way—though I later noticed my room’s view is partially blocked. But honestly? That didn’t ruin anything. The train ride to Ayutthaya was smooth, comfortable, and surprisingly cool—perfect for snacking on the go. I spent the afternoon wandering through ancient temples and backstreets, then returned just as the sun began to set. I opened the curtains and was greeted by an absolutely breathtaking sunset—so vivid, so peaceful. That evening, I followed local vibes and headed to DD Mall. While I’m not usually into vintage stores, the clothing shops on floors three and four had some unique finds, and the rooftop Italian restaurant served up a surprisingly delicious meal.
