Just a quick heads-up for travelers: while the hotel itself is conveniently located, I strongly advise being extra cautious when using the ADO bus terminal in Cancún city center. On the afternoon of February 4th, 2023, I was boarding a bus to Chiquila at the crowded terminal when someone stole my purse—containing cash and credit cards—right in front of me during a surge of passengers. I screamed for help, but no staff responded, as if I wasn’t even there. Afterward, they only told me to go report it to the local prosecutor’s office, which I did. These thieves are very organized—they watch their targets long before boarding, assess whether you’re traveling alone or with others, and pick the perfect moment to strike, especially during the chaos of boarding. They’ll push or jostle you right when the crowd is dense. It’s scary how vulnerable you feel with zero police presence. Please, always keep your valuables secure, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and stay alert—especially in high-traffic areas. Your safety comes first.

The property is excellent and very well-maintained. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transit and nearby attractions. While there aren't many restaurants right on site, using the platform’s quick delivery service easily solves any dining needs. Overall, it's a great value for the price, with a comfortable stay and thoughtful amenities. I’d definitely book again.

Located right in the heart of Cancún, it’s just a short 8-minute walk to the beach—perfect for catching sunrise or sunset strolls. Everything you need is within walking distance: Plaza Nichupté is literally right outside the door, with great dining options like Café Nader and Sushi Roll. Across the street, you’ll find a 24-hour McDonald’s, Subway, Go Mart, and more—all super convenient. Just a 5-minute walk away is Parque Kabah, ideal for a relaxing afternoon. The condo itself is spacious and comfortable, with clean, well-maintained amenities. The pools are spotless and inviting—crystal-clear water that makes you want to spend all day lounging by the edge. With such an unbeatable location, excellent cleanliness, and a vibrant neighborhood vibe, this place truly delivers on every front. If you’re looking for a stress-free, fun-filled vacation in Cancún, this is the perfect base. Highly recommended!

Hotel Handall is perfectly located in the heart of Cancún, just a block away from Chedraui, pharmacies, restaurants, and a bus stop heading straight to the hotel zone. The hotel’s café serves delicious food at very affordable prices, though it closes at 5 PM—luckily there’s a 24-hour convenience store right outside for late-night needs. The place feels quiet and mostly empty, which actually worked in our favor—we stayed 8 days and had the small pool all to ourselves for 5 of them. That kind of privacy is rare and appreciated. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, but the front desk staff were quite serious and not very welcoming. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, low-key stay with easy access to everything, this hotel delivers great value without the touristy crowds.

Staff were polite but not particularly responsive when assistance was needed. While the price point is reasonable for budget travelers, the overall quality doesn’t match the comfort level you’d expect. If you're looking for something basic and affordable with no frills, this could work. But if you’re aiming for a more relaxing stay, consider other options. A few upgrades in furnishings, maintenance, and service would go a long way.

Located just minutes from public transit, it’s easy to get around town, and there are plenty of local restaurants nearby. I had a great night’s sleep and would definitely book again if I’m back in Cancún.

Staying at the Renaissance Cancun Resort & Marina was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—there’s a direct walkway connecting the hotel to the shopping center, so you can grab snacks, souvenirs, or just relax without stepping outside. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. While the sauna requires booking a day in advance (and slots fill up fast), other amenities like the pool and beach access were excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The only minor downside is the absence of a bathtub, but honestly, that didn’t bother me much. Overall, it’s a well-designed resort with top-notch service and convenience—perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Grand City Hotel Cancun
This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The decor is beautiful and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The indoor pool is a real plus—perfect for families or anyone looking to relax. Right outside the door, there's an Oxxo convenience store just steps away, offering breakfast options starting at 100 pesos. I tried the 130-peso combo with coffee, bread, cereal, and eggs—it was delicious and very reasonable. The only minor downside is a rock bar next door that plays music at night, but honestly, after a long day of exploring Cancun, we were so tired we barely noticed it. We slept well anyway. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation.
