The buffet breakfast and dinner were both extensive and high-quality, offering a wide variety of dishes that would take days to fully explore. Public restrooms were immaculately maintained. One highlight: the lifeguard at the pool noticed our young kids and immediately offered free swim rings—such a sweet gesture. The outdoor buffet area was lively with live acoustic music, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. A few suggestions for improvement: afternoon tea desserts were identical to breakfast pastries—consider rotating the selection to avoid feeling like leftover items. Also, airport shuttle service had gaps (e.g., after 5 PM), likely due to driver rest periods—adding a second driver on rotation could ensure coverage throughout the day. Lastly, while the outdoor hot tub on the balcony was lovely, there was no privacy screening, so guests had to use it while wearing swimwear, which slightly reduced the experience. Despite these minor points, this hotel delivers a truly welcoming, relaxing stay. We felt at home every single day. Even when I ordered a large delivery, the friendly, slightly chubby porter helped carry everything up without hesitation. Overall, this place offers great value and a homey vibe. On New Year’s Eve, the ground floor was packed with live music and dancing—super lively! But if you’re traveling with kids, I’d suggest avoiding sea-view rooms since it can get noisy. Rooms facing the opposite side are much quieter. Jasmine stayed on top of things throughout our stay—she mentioned she’d contact the manager to speak with nearby beach vendors if the noise became an issue, which showed how genuinely attentive she was. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the Luoma Hainan rice noodles—everyone in our group agreed it was delicious. We made a beeline for that spot every morning. On arrival day, there was a free sugar cane candy event in the lobby, and Jasmine even sent us photos taken by the in-house photographer. One highlight we absolutely couldn’t miss was the hotel’s “Papai Box” photo experience. We booked in advance, and the photographer at the 9th-floor infinity pool was fantastic. He didn’t make us pose stiffly—he guided the kids naturally, capturing genuine moments and emotions. As someone who hates formal photos, this was a game-changer.
