I stayed at H2O Stay Ikebukuro and had mixed feelings about the experience. If you're a light sleeper, I’d advise against booking here—there’s very little soundproofing, so every movement from the floor above is clearly audible, especially during quiet hours. The check-in and check-out times were also confusing; the website listed check-in after 2 PM and check-out before 12 PM, but my confirmation email said check-in was after 4 PM and check-out by 10:30 AM, which caused some last-minute stress. That inconsistency could be frustrating for travelers planning their schedule. On the bright side, the location is excellent—just a short walk to Ikebukuro Station, with easy access to major lines heading toward Shinjuku, Shibuya, and beyond. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores, making it convenient for quick meals or essentials. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re on a budget and don’t mind the noise and scheduling quirks.
