Had an absolutely wonderful stay in Berlin! The location of Hapimag Gendarmenmarkt is unbeatable—within minutes of major attractions, whether walking or taking public transit. I especially appreciated having secure parking right beneath the apartment building, which made everything so much easier. The apartment was clean, well-appointed, and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Berlin!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay! The accessible room was thoughtfully designed—every detail, including a door viewer at wheelchair height, made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, hitting all the right notes for a great start to the day. Staff were incredibly helpful and warm throughout our visit, always ready to assist. We also appreciated having a parking spot in the garage—no stress when arriving or leaving. But what really stood out was how pet-friendly the hotel is. Our dog was treated like family: bowls, food, a cozy blanket, and even a little toy as a gift. Best of all, he was allowed to join us in the restaurant—something we didn’t expect but absolutely loved. While there’s no air conditioning, the room came with a fan, and the open courtyard (with a roof option if needed) kept things fresh and pleasant. Plus, being so close to the city center made exploring easy and convenient. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-organized hotel that caters so thoughtfully to both travelers and their furry companions. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with pets!

Staying at Candlewood Suites Berlin Charlottenburg was an absolute delight. The staff went above and beyond—super friendly and genuinely helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the vibe was welcoming and homey. If you're looking for an authentic, budget-friendly experience in central Berlin, this place delivers on every level. I’d definitely come back.

The guesthouse is infested with bed bugs—this is not an exaggeration. We found them crawling even in the shared kitchen, which is centrally located and accessible from all rooms. The owner never showed up during our stay and has not responded to any messages since. We had to scramble to find another hotel just to get a safe place to sleep. Health authorities have already been notified to prevent further risks to future guests.

It’s a solid option for budget-conscious visitors who don’t mind a lively urban setting, but those seeking peace and quiet might want to think twice.
