The room clearly underwent a recent renovation and feels fresh and well-maintained throughout. The views from the hilltop are absolutely stunning—every window frames a breathtaking panorama of the city and surrounding landscape. Getting here from Hakata Station was easy and affordable by taxi, and the hotel’s shuttle bus conveniently drops guests off at Yakan, a far more vibrant and stylish neighborhood than Tenjin or Nakasu. There’s so much to explore: cool boutiques, unique cafes, and local gems that make it feel like a hidden gem. Honestly, I went into this trip with no expectations for Fukuoka, but after staying here, I’m already planning my return. If the price is right, this will be my go-to hotel every time I visit. Thanks, Hilltop Resort, for turning my opinion around completely.

The hotel is super convenient for getting around, with easy access to the subway line. I was really impressed by the staff member who speaks fluent Korean—communication throughout my stay was smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was basic (just sandwiches), but since there's a large supermarket right in front of the hotel, I’d recommend doing your grocery shopping the night before and preparing your own breakfast. It’s more affordable and enjoyable this way. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows, which keeps the space feeling open and airy, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing stay. Just keep in mind it’s a bit far from central Hakata if you're short on time. But if you’re planning a longer trip, this place is definitely worth considering. Plus, the nearby Lalaport shopping complex is just a short walk away—great for dining, shopping, or simply unwinding after a long day.

Staying at Guest House Zwell Hakata Befu was a real highlight of my trip to Fukuoka. The room was spotless, exactly as shown in the photos—no surprises, just honest quality. What really stood out was the space; it felt significantly larger than most budget accommodations I’ve stayed in, giving plenty of room to move around and relax. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from Befu Station, which is manageable, and there’s a convenient Lawson convenience store right along the way—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. Getting to major hubs like Hakata Station or Tenjin takes just 15 to 30 minutes by subway, making it easy to explore the city. With such a great balance of cleanliness, comfort, and location—and a price that feels incredibly fair—I’d definitely stay here again. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, well-priced, and genuinely comfortable base in Fukuoka, this place is a solid choice.
