Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Compared to other mid-tier hotels we’ve stayed at, this one stands out for its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent value. It’s clear they care about guest satisfaction. We’d definitely recommend this place over other options we’ve tried before—especially if you’re looking for a quiet, reliable, and well-maintained hotel in New Orleans.

I strongly advise against staying at this property—run away if you can. The room we were assigned had a terrible smell of smoke and something foul, making it nearly unbearable. There was no Wi-Fi available at all, which is unacceptable in today’s world. The door didn’t close properly, leaving gaps that let in drafts and compromised privacy. The bedding was stained with cigarette burns, visibly dirty, and outdated. There was even a hole in the wall—this level of neglect is shocking. Most concerning was the lack of a fire detector, raising serious safety concerns. The overall condition is poor, management seems indifferent, and the experience was far below any reasonable expectation. This place doesn’t deserve a single star.

The security gate at check-in might look a bit intimidating, but once inside, you instantly feel safe and well taken care of. Arriving at the hotel, we were immediately disappointed by the unfriendly front desk staff. The room was directly facing the street, with windows so dirty that it was nearly impossible to see outside. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking property, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—so intense that we checked out after just five minutes and paid extra for a new hotel. The location is far from downtown New Orleans, making it inconvenient for tourists. As a young couple, we found this stay extremely unsatisfying and not worth the price. It would be completely impractical for families too. Overall, a very disappointing experience with no redeeming qualities.

Even though I’m a local from New Orleans, I was looking for a quiet place to unwind, and this hotel delivered perfectly. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional—especially the housekeeping team, who went above and beyond with their attention to detail. Being from Georgia for a while, I can confidently say there’s nothing quite like being back home in New Orleans. The vibe, the hospitality, the energy—it’s all uniquely NOLA. This isn’t just a hotel; it feels like coming home. I’ll definitely be back. Nola 4 life 🤗😏😃
