They’re young, friendly, and professional, but there’s no real sense of personal connection or family-like atmosphere. Still, the overall experience is excellent—great for wellness travelers who value comfort and quality. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, well-equipped retreat in Hamburg.

Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to Tierpark Hagenbeck U-Bahn station, making travel around Hamburg super convenient. Plus, free outdoor parking on-site means no need to pay for underground garage spots—huge plus for drivers. One hiccup: during check-in, we discovered that only one of our two booked rooms was available. It turned out there was a system glitch between the booking platform and the hotel’s reservation system. We were understandably concerned, but the hotel went above and beyond by securing us another room even though the property was fully booked. Their quick response and willingness to help made a big difference. Overall, this place offers exceptional value, comfort, and service—definitely a top choice for future visits.

The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with friendly staff making us feel at home right away. Parking in the underground garage was hassle-free, and the elevator made it easy to reach our room on the upper floors. Upon entering, we noticed the room was quite warm—apparently the heating was turned up full blast, which isn’t very eco-friendly. We quickly turned it off and opened the windows for fresh air. Despite being near the airport, the room remained incredibly quiet—even with the windows open! After about half an hour, the front desk called to check if everything was alright, which showed genuine care and attention. The mattresses were a bit soft for our taste, but since it was just one night, it wasn’t an issue. Overall, we chose Leonardo Hamburg Airport Hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the convenience of leaving our car there during our trip. Highly recommend for short stays or layovers.
