What really stood out was that everything in the bar was free—no hidden charges for snacks or drinks, unlike other hotels where mini-bar fees can add up quickly. Plus, the front desk staff went above and beyond by helping us secure tickets to the Lindt Chocolate Factory for the next day, even though it was fully booked two weeks in advance. Their assistance made our trip so much more memorable. From the ambiance to the thoughtful service, every detail felt special. This hotel truly delivers on both comfort and charm—10/10, would absolutely recommend!

Staying at Hotel Stoller was an excellent experience. From Zurich Airport, taking bus routes 16 or 33 is convenient and actually saves about 6 minutes compared to going directly to Zurich HB. However, the buses don’t run as frequently as the nearby tram lines 2 and 3, which are always available with seats. The room faces the quiet courtyard—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Daily cleaning is thorough, and I really appreciated the complimentary four bottles of drinks each day. The apple stand downstairs offers fresh, sweet-and-sour apples that are a delightful treat. The bed is slightly narrow, but that’s typical for 4-star hotels in Germany and Austria, so it’s not surprising. I checked out both M and Coop supermarkets—ended up choosing Coop because the one near the tram stop (5–6 stops from the hotel, right next to a McDonald’s) has the widest selection. Late October to mid-November, outdoor temperatures were around 10°C, but the room’s heating made it cozy and comfortable throughout. Overall, great value, exceptional comfort, and a fantastic location—definitely planning to return.
