I’d been wanting to stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei for a while, mainly because my travel group consisted of three people who all wanted individual beds and a single room. I was a bit hesitant at first since most of the online reviews were from 2017–2018, but once I arrived, I completely changed my mind—this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. What stood out the most was how the hotel proactively sent us a confirmation email after booking to confirm our schedule—something many 5-star hotels don’t do. It made planning so much easier and gave me peace of mind. Overall, this trip was enjoyable and stress-free thanks to the excellent service. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

This trip to Asia included stays at other luxury hotels like Mandarin Oriental's counterparts, but none could match the exceptional experience at Mandarin Oriental Taipei. Daily water replenishment was prompt, and the nightly turndown service went above and beyond—my room was refreshed, essentials restocked, and everything put back just right. The location is fantastic: surrounded by excellent restaurants and easily accessible via public transit to major attractions. Every team member I interacted with showed genuine care and professionalism. It’s rare to find such consistent attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return.

Nearby, I discovered the legendary Tian Xia San Jue Beef Noodle Soup—rich broth, perfectly tender beef, and a must-try. M One Coffee nearby is also fantastic, with a cozy vibe and excellent brews. What truly stood out was how pet-friendly the hotel is—my dog felt right at home, and the staff treated him like family. Service was impeccable throughout, and the overall experience was simply outstanding. Highly recommend this gem for any traveler visiting Taipei!

Thankfully, after a gentle reminder, she put her phone away. To prevent future concerns, I’d suggest posting clear signage or reminding guests about the no-electronics rule in the bath area. It would go a long way in preserving privacy and enhancing the overall atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional comfort, service, and convenience—highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

The bathroom features a clean, well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure is strong with consistently hot water available 24/7—no cold showers here! Located just a 3-5 minute walk from the MRT station, getting around Taipei is super convenient. There’s also a convenience store and Sushiro right on the ground floor—perfect for late-night snacks or quick meals. The location is unbeatable, combining urban accessibility with a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value and service. I’d definitely come back.

I can't say enough good things about Cityinn Hotel Plus Ximending Branch! From check-in to housekeeping, every staff member was incredibly thoughtful and friendly. The room came with little snacks, and they even provided instant noodles for late-night cravings—such a nice touch. The location is perfect: just a short walk from Ximending's bustling streets, yet far enough to avoid the crowds and congestion at the main exit. Super convenient for exploring the area without the hassle. Clean, well-maintained, and great value for money. I’ll definitely be back when I visit Taipei again!

Staying at CityInn Hotel Taipei Station Branch II was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to Taipei Main Station and only 8 minutes to the Taoyuan Airport MRT, making travel to and from the airport super convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including convenience stores, McDonald’s, KFC, and right across the street, the Jing Station Fashion Mall with tons of great food spots. The room itself is spacious enough to easily fit two 28-inch suitcases without feeling cramped. Cleanliness is top-notch—everything looked fresh and well-maintained. Hot water was strong and consistent, and the shower pressure was excellent. Bonus points for the free instant noodles provided each night—such a thoughtful little touch! I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Taipei. It’s a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and value. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us warmly and even stepped outside to help carry our luggage—what a great welcome! While some team members, especially kitchen staff, don’t speak much English, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room exceeded my expectations in size and comfort, with excellent air conditioning and a very relaxing atmosphere. It came with a microwave, cozy sofa, and two large TVs—one placed directly across from the bed and another near the seating area. The all-in-one toilet is truly high-tech, with multiple bidet settings controlled by buttons—very convenient and fun to use. Breakfast was mainly Chinese-style, featuring a wide variety of authentic local dishes that were delicious and well-prepared. That said, there could’ve been more options for Western guests—no continental or farm breakfast offered—but still, the selection was generous and included a few unique Taiwanese specialties worth trying. The fitness area is modest but functional: it has a pool table, table football, and basic equipment including a multi-station machine, treadmill, and light dumbbells. Not a full gym, but perfect for a quick workout. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and daily essentials—super convenient. Overall, this place offers excellent value, top-notch service, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely come back.
