We checked in last night at Hotel Maxim and were immediately greeted by a friendly front desk agent named Khalil. The hotel’s location is great, just a short walk or a quick metro ride from the city center. Everything about our stay felt thoughtfully managed, and we’re already considering returning. The location is excellent: close to restaurants, shops, and just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Verona on foot. The only minor issue was a strange noise coming from the ceiling during the night—almost like something was stuck in the air duct, turning on and off intermittently. It was noticeable but not disruptive during the day; however, it did feel unsettling in the middle of the night. Despite that, the stay was truly enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its charm, comfort, and great value.

What truly amazed us was that every time we left the room during the day, housekeeping would come back in to freshen it up—making the beds, restocking supplies, keeping everything spotless. That kind of attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Overall, this was an exceptional stay—highly recommended for families seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.
