Staying at Hotel Leon d'Oro was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. Staying at Relais Empire was a wonderful experience overall. The room was beautifully designed, the bathroom was clean and modern, and the kitchen area offered plenty of space for preparing meals—very convenient. The location is excellent: close to restaurants, shops, and just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Verona on foot. The only minor issue was a strange noise coming from the ceiling during the night—almost like something was stuck in the air duct, turning on and off intermittently. It was noticeable but not disruptive during the day; however, it did feel unsettling in the middle of the night. Despite that, the stay was truly enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its charm, comfort, and great value.

Stayed for three nights and overall experience was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There was one day when housekeeping forgot to clean the room, but instead of just a simple apology, the hotel generously offered a complimentary breakfast for the next day. To our surprise, upon checkout, we found that all three breakfasts had been waived! That was such a pleasant surprise—definitely above and beyond. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the city center, and everything about the stay felt thoughtfully managed. I’d definitely return and recommend this place to anyone visiting Verona.
La Maison di Luca

We reached out to the property in advance to confirm our booking details, but never received the payment instructions or account information for the deposit. Despite multiple follow-up emails, we got no response at all. After two days, we finally heard back—only to be told that our original dates were no longer available and we’d need to change them. This lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating, especially after investing time and effort into planning our stay. If you're considering this place, be aware: clear and timely responses are not guaranteed, and it’s risky to rely on their coordination.

What really stands out is the location—just a short walk from the city center and right next to the Arena. It’s unbeatable for exploring the historic heart of Verona without having to deal with long commutes. Clean, friendly, and consistently excellent service. This place has become my go-to choice every time I’m in town.
