While it's not right in the heart of downtown, it's still very convenient to reach the Olympic Sports Center and the Tumor Hospital via public transit, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Plus, free parking is a huge plus if you're driving, which saved me a lot of hassle and cost. Everything about the stay felt premium, yet the pricing remains super reasonable. Even though we checked in late, they happily extended our checkout time to 3 PM the next day with no hassle. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt peaceful and welcoming. I’ve stayed here a few years ago and decided to return—glad I did. The location is fantastic: just steps away from Baojia Lou, Qishilin, and even the Bird’s Nest, with the Haihe River right behind the hotel. Morning walks along the riverbank are peaceful and scenic. The Chinese restaurant on-site serves solid meals, and I was pleasantly surprised by a small dumpling shop just around the corner—breakfast and lunch were both satisfying and surprisingly good value. A couple of minor drawbacks: some facilities feel dated, especially in the corners where the carpet could use a deeper clean. Also, the front desk requires copying my ID upon check-in—a practice I find unusual and concerning from a privacy standpoint, as I’ve never encountered it elsewhere. It’s worth reviewing whether this aligns with local regulations and security standards. Despite these points, the overall experience remains excellent. Great for convenience, charm, and comfort—definitely recommend for travelers who appreciate a quiet, central stay.

There’s also a Carrefour supermarket nearby, so grocery runs and meal prep are a breeze. For travelers who value both food and efficiency, this is pure gold. The room itself was spotless and surprisingly well-designed for a budget chain—modern, clean, and bright. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress struck the perfect balance between firm and plush, ensuring a deep, restful sleep.
