And unfortunately, there’s no Uber available anywhere in Sharm El Sheikh, making getting around expensive and less convenient. The beach is serene and uncrowded, perfect for relaxing, but the coral reefs aren’t as vibrant as those near dedicated dive shops. We took a day trip to one of those spots, and wow—the energy, crowds, and variety of restaurants were much more lively and affordable. Regarding cleanliness, the staff did a great job overall. I especially loved the little towel flower left on the bed the second day! However, I noticed a small bump under the sheets, which bothered me a bit since I’m quite particular about bedding comfort. Also, the duvet insert was just sandwiched between two covers instead of being enclosed properly—during the night, it shifted out of place, leaving me cold and having to cover up with an extra blanket. Still, hygiene standards were excellent across the board.
