Staying at the Leonardo Hotel & Residenz Munich was an absolute delight! It’s incredibly convenient, just steps away from the subway station, making it easy to explore Munich and nearby attractions without hassle. The room came equipped with a kettle, microwave, induction cooker, and even a coffee machine—plus complimentary capsule coffee! That little extra touch made my stay so much more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and great value in a central location, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I’ll be coming back!

After a long day exploring Munich, soaking my feet was pure relaxation. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the property—rooms were spotless, fresh, and meticulously maintained. What truly stood out though was the staff’s warm and welcoming attitude. Every team member went above and beyond with genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. Plus, the ground-floor restaurant offers a great breakfast selection and a convenient spot for meals. Located just steps away from public transit, it’s super easy to get around the city. With excellent amenities, superb service, and unbeatable convenience, this hotel is a true gem in Munich—I’ll definitely be back.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Located just a short distance from BMW Museum and Olympiapark, it's super convenient for exploring the area. A quick tram ride takes you to Marienplatz in about 20 minutes, and it’s only half an hour by taxi to the airport—perfectly situated without being in the city center. The price is incredibly fair for the quality and location. My room was spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean—just what I needed after a long day. I especially appreciated the free water and candies available at the lobby; no need to pay extra for bottled water anymore. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was warm and professional. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Munich. Highly recommend!

There were plenty of tea bags and coffee pods available, which added a warm, homey feel. Breakfast was outstanding: a generous spread of fresh breads, sausages, fruits, yogurts, and more—all delicious and well-prepared. But what truly stood out was the front desk staff. A gentleman there went above and beyond when I asked about Geisten HP8 Cultural Center. He not only looked up the location and transit details but also wrote down the exact subway route and station names clearly on paper. That kind of personal care made a big difference. I left feeling genuinely appreciated. This hotel offers comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Munich—and I’ve already recommended it to friends.

It’s clear this place takes pride in its service. One thing I didn’t notice on the website was the extra paperwork required for minors staying with non-parents, which caught me off guard. Still, the team handled it with kindness and flexibility—they let us complete the forms at check-in and even sent the documents to our parents directly. While the process felt a bit more strict than expected, I understand the need for safety measures, especially when it comes to younger travelers. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m happy to give it a full 5 stars. If all Meininger locations maintain this standard—especially considering Munich is one of their oldest properties—I’d say they’re a safe, reliable choice for any budget-conscious traveler.

This was my first trip to Munich for a business visit, but I ended up staying an extra couple of days to enjoy the beer festival and catch some live football matches—so glad I did! The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the nearest subway station, making it super easy to explore the city center and nearby attractions. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance, so you never have to go far for a meal or a bit of shopping.
