It's also a short 10-minute walk to Xibei Jiao, and only three stops on the subway to Honghu Li. There’s a shopping mall right across the street, so grabbing snacks or essentials is hassle-free. The room was spotlessly clean, and the heating worked well—perfect for cooler evenings. I especially appreciated the warm porridge served in the evening; it felt like a thoughtful touch. The only minor downside is that the hallway sound insulation could be better, but it’s not a dealbreaker. All in all, this hotel offers great value, convenience, and comfort—definitely a top pick if you're visiting Tianjin.

Breakfast was an absolute highlight: the jianbing (Chinese crepe) was perfectly crispy, the guobacai soup was rich and flavorful, and the doufunao (bean curd pudding) was silky and satisfying. There was a great variety, nutritious, and delicious. Plus, having access to a free laundry facility and fitness center made the stay even more convenient. This place offers incredible value and comfort—I’ll definitely be returning.

Staying at the Atour Hotel Haiguang Temple Tianjin University was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, making getting around town a breeze. When we checked in, the front desk staff proactively upgraded our rooms without us even asking—what a pleasant surprise! It was also during the Mid-Autumn Festival, so they kindly provided fresh fruit as a welcome gift. The room itself was brand new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Laundry facilities were easy to use, which was a big plus for a longer stay. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety with plenty of authentic local dishes from Tianjin, including some I’d never tried before. The dining staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Special shoutout to Yu Li and He Mingyang at the front desk—their warmth and professionalism made all the difference. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Tianjin. This hotel truly delivers value, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and even took time to explain hotel amenities and nearby attractions. Any request I had was handled promptly, and housekeeping was attentive—rooms were cleaned daily with great attention to detail. The room itself came with all the essentials: a high-definition TV, individual air conditioning, and super-fast Wi-Fi. The bathroom is perfectly separated into dry and wet zones, with strong, consistent hot water. I especially loved the in-house toiletries—they’re subtle, refreshing, and clearly thoughtfully chosen. I later stayed at another Atour property just 2km away, same price point, but it felt like a completely different brand—basic furnishings, smaller room size, and nothing remotely close to this one’s standard. What really stood out here was the staff: incredibly attentive and genuinely helpful. They upgraded my room without hesitation and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. From location to service, every aspect was top-notch. It’s perfectly situated for exploring downtown Tianjin—just a short walk or quick subway ride away. Located just steps from the subway station, getting around Tianjin is incredibly easy. Whether you're heading to Wudadao, the Haihe River, or downtown, everything is within reach. I’ve stayed here a few times now, and I have to say the breakfast is absolutely outstanding—different options every day, so you never get bored. The two ladies working in the dining area are incredibly friendly and cheerful; their warm hospitality truly stands out. I didn’t take any photos of the room, but it’s clean, well-designed, and feels modern and cozy with high-quality bedding and thoughtful space planning. Located right near South Square of Tianjin West Railway Station, it’s super convenient for getting around by metro. The overall experience is excellent, especially if you value both comfort and great service. This place offers fantastic value for money, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tianjin—especially travelers who care about a pleasant start to the day.
