I did notice the price seemed a bit higher compared to other options, but when checking the map, it's only about 100 to 300 meters from MRT Blok-M station. That close proximity makes commuting super convenient, especially if you're exploring Jakarta on public transit. The location is quiet yet well-connected, and the overall value feels solid for the convenience and comfort offered.

That said, there are a few things to consider. The area gets quite lively on weekends, with lots of young locals riding motorbikes nearby, which can lead to noise levels that make it hard to sleep (though they kindly provided earbuds). Also, I noticed a faint smell of smoke in the bathroom of the studio room—could be from outside, but not sure how it got in. Overall, if you're visiting Jakarta to soak up the local energy and live like a local, this is definitely the place to stay. It’s worth every penny for the vibe and convenience. But if your main goal is quiet rest and minimal disturbance, you might want to think twice.

The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our stay. Every corner, from the bedroom to the bathroom, felt spotless and well-maintained. The staff clearly takes pride in hygiene and upkeep. It's also conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to explore downtown Jakarta. With plenty of dining options nearby and excellent value for money, this place exceeded our expectations. Definitely planning to return.
YPPI HOMESTEAD
The property itself is quite nice and conveniently located, but I was really disappointed with the check-in policy. I arrived at 12 PM, and the room was already clean and available, yet I had to wait until 2 PM to check in. After a 10-hour train ride, I was exhausted and just wanted to rest. It felt unnecessarily strict and lacking in guest consideration. The staff could definitely show more empathy and flexibility—after all, hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, not adding stress. A simple 'we can let you in early if your room's ready' would have made a huge difference.
