Later in the evening, I had a small issue upon returning to the hotel, and reaching out for help was the best decision. They responded instantly with genuine care and enthusiasm, never once showing frustration. Their dedication made the entire trip feel more relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and conveniently located near public transit. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. While the room wasn’t exactly what I expected, the cockroach was definitely memorable—big, fat, and burst when stepped on. The only minor downside was the lack of soundproofing—since the bed was placed close to the door, I could hear conversations from outside clearly. That said, it’s the only issue I noticed. What stood out was how thoughtful the hygiene practices were—the towels were individually wrapped in plastic bags, clearly sterilized before use. Also, there’s no door between the bathroom and bedroom, and the blinds don’t block out much light, so morning sunlight can be a bit disruptive. But honestly, these are small trade-offs for such a cozy, well-located stay. The neighborhood vibe is authentic, and it’s super convenient for exploring Chengdu on foot or by metro. Great value, warm hospitality, and a lovely home-away-from-home feel. Definitely planning to return.
