Located right in the heart of Wangfujing, it’s within walking distance—or just a quick bike ride—to major attractions like the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the National Museum, Temple of Heaven, and Beihai Park. The hotel is literally steps from Dengshikou Metro Station, making public transit incredibly convenient. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our room was on a high floor, offering breathtaking views of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park—waking up to that skyline view every morning was pure joy. Watching the sunset over the city's historic axis in the evening was unforgettable. On departure day, I was rushing for an early flight, and Donk had already pre-packed a breakfast box for me, along with a gentle reminder about the weather change—such a thoughtful touch. I accidentally left behind a toiletry bag containing a significant amount of cash in my room, and I was extremely anxious at first. To my great relief, every staff member involved—from housekeeping team member Shiyuan, shift manager Zhang Lei, security officer Qin Yanling, to front desk agent Zoey—went above and beyond to help locate and return my belongings. Not only was everything recovered, but the cash remained untouched. Under the leadership of Manager Bai Lu, this team demonstrated an outstanding level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care and responsibility in a luxury hotel setting. This experience made me fall even more in love with InterContinental, especially this property in Sanlitun. The location is unbeatable, the service is top-tier, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Among the Crowne Plaza properties in Beijing, this Sun Palace location has consistently stood out for me—maybe because it feels newer compared to others like YouTang, Zhongguancun, or Lido. The overall facilities and room design are modern and well thought out, making the stay genuinely comfortable. It's conveniently located just outside the Northeast 3rd Ring Road, with easy access to subway stations nearby—perfect if you're relying on public transit. Driving in? Parking is only 40 RMB per day, which is very reasonable. Right now, the lobby is beautifully decorated with a stunning Christmas tree and festive touches throughout—definitely sets a cheerful mood. The elevators automatically light up your floor when you swipe your key card—a nice tech touch. Room space is generous, clean, and well-organized, with both shower and bathtub available. Even small details like alcohol wipes, toilet seat covers, and bath mats were thoughtfully provided. Only minor note: the hairdryer wasn’t the most powerful. The rooftop lounge on the 23rd floor offers afternoon tea and happy hour for guests with privileges—great for unwinding. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was fantastic: a wide variety of coffee options, freshly made, plus an unexpected highlight—hard-boiled eggs already peeled! There’s also a great selection of soups, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. The 25-meter pool is spacious and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. Staff service was excellent throughout—special thanks to Alice at reception, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, this was one of the best stays I’ve had in Beijing, and I’ll definitely be back.

While it's not right in the heart of downtown, it’s incredibly convenient for key areas like Wangjing Business District, Taikoo Place, Parkview Green, Yishan Commercial Zone, the embassy area, and even Beijing Capital International Airport. The location makes it ideal for both business travelers and tourists. Even though it’s part of the Metropark brand, guests can still earn IHG Rewards points and enjoy member benefits—a nice perk many might not expect. The hotel has a bit of vintage character in its design, but it’s far from outdated; rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with Balmain amenities that add a touch of luxury. The scent of the toiletries is subtle yet refreshing. Most impressively, every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience worth repeating.

Staying at Holiday Inn Beijing Focus Square was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room I booked was recently renovated—clean, modern, and well-maintained, noticeably better than other rooms I’ve seen in the past. The view of Wangjing SOHO from the window was stunning, especially at night with the city lights glowing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional; special mention to Xiao Hu at reception—so helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. I stayed for several nights and felt right at home. Located just minutes from the subway, it’s super convenient for exploring Beijing. With such a great balance of comfort, service, and location, I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at this hotel in Beijing was absolutely worth every penny! The front desk staff, Alisa Xiao Ya, was incredibly friendly and efficient—check-in was quick and she even offered great recommendations for nearby restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options—plenty to choose from and delicious too. I also appreciated the clean and well-maintained self-service laundry and fitness center, which made my stay much more comfortable. Located right in the heart of downtown Beijing, it’s just steps away from Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Street. Public transportation is super convenient, making exploring the city a breeze. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit Beijing.

Beijing Huashang Hotel (Sanyuanqiao Yansha Embassy Area Branch)

Even though the hotel looks like just a two-star property from the outside, the service truly exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly close to Beijing Capital Airport—right when I arrived, they even gave me clear instructions on which exit to take for the quickest access. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary upgrade. Daily free sodas and bottled water are a nice touch. One of the best features? There’s a free laundry machine on the premises—perfect for longer stays or business trips. This little detail made my entire stay in Beijing much more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back to Huashang Hotel next time I visit Beijing. Great value, great location, and genuine hospitality.
