The Voco Makkah Hotel exceeded all my expectations—truly a five-star experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of, treating me like royalty without making it feel forced. Every concern or suggestion I shared was listened to seriously and addressed promptly. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities. The food was delicious and varied, offering great quality and taste. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. The team’s hospitality was outstanding—always smiling, helpful, and respectful. This was hands down the best hotel service I’ve experienced during my travels, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Makkah.

Staying at Batoul Ajyad Hotel was an absolute delight, especially given its incredible proximity to the Haram. We arrived right after our prayers and were impressed by how convenient it was—just a short walk from the holy site. The hotel is family-friendly with spacious rooms that felt clean and welcoming. Everything we needed was within walking distance: local eateries, convenience stores, and shops. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. It's rare to find such a peaceful yet well-connected place in Makkah. If you're visiting for Umrah or just exploring, this hotel offers excellent value and comfort. Highly recommend!

Staying at Violet Al Azizia Hotel in Makkah was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the Haram, making it easy to reach for prayers and rituals. The room was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean, with all amenities functioning perfectly. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help—whether it was luggage assistance or local recommendations. The halal meals were a highlight: flavorful, diverse, and thoughtfully prepared, offering something delicious every meal. I especially appreciated the 24-hour shuttle service, which made late-night arrivals stress-free. Everything about this hotel feels well thought out—from cleanliness to comfort to hospitality. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful, welcoming home away from home. If I’m ever back in Makkah, this will be my first choice without hesitation.

The hotel is actually quite close to the Holy Mosque, though the Google Maps location seems a bit off—using the Arabic name for navigation works much better. It's about 15 kilometers from Masjid al-Haram, but the transportation options are convenient, whether by metro or taxi. The journey is smooth and well-connected, making it a great choice for pilgrims. Despite the distance, the value for money and comfort make it a top pick for those visiting Makkah.

Check-in was seamless and fast—exactly what you need after a long journey. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, blending comfort with elegance perfectly. The bed was incredibly cozy, making for deep, restful sleep each night. The bathroom was well-appointed with premium toiletries and kept immaculate by the housekeeping team. Dining options were a real highlight—the in-house restaurant offered a great mix of local and international flavors, turning every meal into a treat. Breakfast buffet was extensive, with something for everyone: from continental favorites to specialty dishes catering to various dietary preferences. Location-wise, it’s ideal—just a short walk or quick ride away from major attractions, making sightseeing effortless. The shuttle service to the Haram was reliable and on time, which made daily prayers stress-free. The fitness center was fully equipped, so I could stick to my routine without missing a beat. High-speed Wi-Fi kept me connected with family back home. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value with top-tier service, luxurious rooms, and thoughtful amenities. It truly stands out in Makkah, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting this holy city. Can’t wait to come back.

Staying at Askant Golden Hotel was an excellent experience. The hotel is incredibly close to the Haram, making it super convenient for pilgrims and visitors alike—just a short walk from the sacred site. Located right on the main street, it's easy to navigate and access nearby amenities. The property is spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everything about this hotel felt welcoming and well-maintained. With its prime location and high standards, it’s definitely a top choice if you're visiting Mecca.

I wish I could give a negative rating lower than 2 out of 10. This hotel was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The staff were unfriendly and condescending, making guests feel unwelcome rather than cared for. There was no room service available at all—something that’s expected even in budget accommodations. The surrounding area was unpleasantly smelly and poorly maintained, giving the whole place a rundown feel. For elderly travelers or those with mobility issues, there were no wheelchairs provided, which is a major concern during a pilgrimage. I’d strongly recommend anyone with a choice to spend a bit extra on a better-rated, more considerate hotel. This one is not worth it—not even close.

During Hajj 2024, we were walking under extreme heat from Jamarat when the temperature soared to 50°C and we ran out of water. At our breaking point, we stumbled upon Sidqie Street, where Rawasi Al Barakah was the only hotel with its doors open—welcoming us in without hesitation. They not only gave us shelter from the scorching sun but also provided plenty of water, which helped us recover just in time before continuing our journey to Makkah. Their kindness made all the difference—we were truly on the verge of heatstroke, and their support literally saved us. Even more impressive, they distributed bottled water to other travelers struggling on the street, showing genuine compassion in a moment of crisis. It’s rare to witness such selfless hospitality, especially in such harsh conditions. We’re deeply grateful for their humanity and generosity. May this hotel and its staff be blessed abundantly by Allah. From Melbourne, Australia.

I strongly discourage staying at this hotel—it's infested with bed bugs, making the entire experience a nightmare. The cleanliness is extremely poor, and despite being close to the Haram, that’s the only redeeming factor. Rooms are tiny with no closets, and the dining area uses plastic plates and cutlery—very low quality. Overall, it’s a disappointing stay, and I’d give it a rating below zero.

My stay at Maather Al Jewar Hotel was absolutely disappointing. The air conditioning didn't work at all, making the room extremely uncomfortable and almost unbearable during the heat. The room itself was not clean—there were visible signs of neglect, and it felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in days. There was no luggage pickup service offered, so I had to carry my heavy bags myself through the hotel and into the room, which was very inconvenient. The front desk staff were unfriendly and unprofessional—my requests for help were ignored or met with rude attitudes. Customer service was practically nonexistent. Overall, this experience was far below expectations. For such a high-profile location in Mecca, the standard of cleanliness, comfort, and service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely not be returning.

The Prestige Al-Masaher Hotel is an excellent choice, especially for those visiting Makkah for Umrah or Hajj. The room was comfortable for three people, but it felt a bit cramped with four guests. The on-site restaurant offers a great dining experience—while a meal costs around 35 SAR, the food quality, portion size, and local flavors make it worth every dirham. The hotel's location is convenient, close to the Grand Mosque, and getting there by metro is straightforward. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a peaceful atmosphere make this stay memorable. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort and value in a central location.

Staying at the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived until check-out, the staff went above and beyond with their professionalism, warm welcome, and attention to every little detail—making us feel truly at home. The room was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and the view overlooking the Grand Mosque was absolutely breathtaking, bringing a deep sense of peace. Being just a short walk from the Haram makes it incredibly convenient for prayers and visiting the holy site. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, and the hospitality team was always ready to assist with a smile. Every aspect of our stay felt thoughtful and exceptional. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah, and I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip. Truly a gem in the heart of the holy city.
