Staying at Reef Global Hotel was a positive experience overall. The location is convenient—just a short walk to the main areas of Mecca, and it's easy to get to the Grand Mosque via public transit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a good-quality bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions about local schedules and transportation. There are plenty of nearby dining options, including authentic local eateries, which made mealtime enjoyable. While some facilities aren’t brand new, everything feels well-kept and functional. For travelers visiting Mecca for Umrah or a short stay, this hotel offers great value and reliability. I’d definitely consider returning and recommend it to others.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay truly comfortable. What stands out the most is how close it is to the Masjid al-Haram—just a 10-minute walk, which is perfect for pilgrims or visitors wanting easy access. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and offer all the essentials you’d need. The location is unbeatable, with easy walking distance to major religious sites and local amenities. It’s clear the team takes pride in their service, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Makkah. A real gem in a great location.
Dhiafat Al Raja Hotel
The hotel offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly staff and decent room quality overall. However, the main issue is the excessive noise—our room faced a busy road where cars honked nonstop throughout the day and night, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep peacefully. The walls are also very thin, so we could hear every word from the neighboring room, and vice versa—quite disruptive. There’s even a door connecting our room to the next one, which has been sealed off, but that seems to worsen sound transmission instead of helping. The beds were acceptable, though the pillows were too flat and soft—definitely needed more fluffiness. I’d recommend providing two pillows instead of just one. Location-wise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Haram, situated on Ibrahim Khalil Road, and there are plenty of food options right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. If they invest in better soundproofing and improve room insulation, I’d definitely consider returning. In’shaa’Allah.

This hotel is an excellent choice for pilgrims visiting Makkah. The price is very reasonable, and the rooms are spotless and well-maintained with all essential facilities available. I was pleasantly surprised by how close it is to Gate 1 (Abdul Aziz Gate)—just a 15-minute walk, which made our daily routine stress-free. The location is convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For such a great value and comfort level, I’d definitely stay here again if I return.

Fajr Al Badea 5
I wish I could give a negative rating lower than 2 out of 10. This hotel was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The staff were unfriendly and condescending, making guests feel unwelcome rather than cared for. There was no room service available at all—something that’s expected even in budget accommodations. The surrounding area was unpleasantly smelly and poorly maintained, giving the whole place a rundown feel. For elderly travelers or those with mobility issues, there were no wheelchairs provided, which is a major concern during a pilgrimage. I’d strongly recommend anyone with a choice to spend a bit extra on a better-rated, more considerate hotel. This one is not worth it—not even close.
Rawasi Al Barakah
During Hajj 2024, we were walking under extreme heat from Jamarat when the temperature soared to 50°C and we ran out of water. At our breaking point, we stumbled upon Sidqie Street, where Rawasi Al Barakah was the only hotel with its doors open—welcoming us in without hesitation. They not only gave us shelter from the scorching sun but also provided plenty of water, which helped us recover just in time before continuing our journey to Makkah. Their kindness made all the difference—we were truly on the verge of heatstroke, and their support literally saved us. Even more impressive, they distributed bottled water to other travelers struggling on the street, showing genuine compassion in a moment of crisis. It’s rare to witness such selfless hospitality, especially in such harsh conditions. We’re deeply grateful for their humanity and generosity. Almanar Ajyad Hotel
I strongly discourage staying at this hotel—it's infested with bed bugs, making the entire experience a nightmare. The cleanliness is extremely poor, and despite being close to the Haram, that’s the only redeeming factor. Rooms are tiny with no closets, and the dining area uses plastic plates and cutlery—very low quality. Overall, it’s a disappointing stay, and I’d give it a rating below zero.
