Staying at Smile Hotel Sugamo was a fantastic experience! The room is small but spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors—just what you want after a long day of exploring. Right outside the door, there's a FamilyMart, and just a quick turn down the street leads to a 24-hour duty-free store—perfect for last-minute snacks or souvenirs. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Sugamo Station, making public transit super convenient. I took the train to Narita Airport easily, and the route was straightforward and stress-free. Plus, just a 2-minute stroll away is a great spot called Torikizoku—super tasty food that made my trip even better. I’d definitely come back here again. Excellent value, great location, and such a welcoming vibe!

If you're driving, this place is even better: there's a Toyota dealership right next to the hotel, which makes parking and car access a breeze. Plus, the natural hot spring is a real highlight—relaxing and authentic. Overall, it’s an excellent choice if you want a quiet retreat with great amenities and easy access to Tokyo’s city life.
