This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m happy to say it lived up to the high standard of my first visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout—check-in, check-out, and even just a quick hello in the hallway made me feel welcome. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a 3-minute walk from JR Otsuka Station, which is small and easy to navigate. Compared to walking to Shinjuku or Tokyo Station (which can be exhausting), this spot is a real gem for travelers who value convenience. Nearby, you’ve got Ikebukuro shopping district and the local Otsuka commercial street—plenty of options for dining and browsing. The only downside? No washing machine in the room. But no worries—I found a coin laundry nearby by searching 'coin laundry' on Google Maps. The one I used was Koinrandoripierohigashiikebukuroten, which is clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. It’s a great solution if you’re staying longer or need to freshen up your clothes. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and ease of access—definitely a top pick for anyone visiting Tokyo.

What really stood out was the thoughtful touches: complimentary skincare products, makeup remover, even hair ties—all thoughtfully provided. Fresh towels and bath linens were changed daily, which shows great attention to cleanliness. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. No request was too small—they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Even with a large suitcase, there was plenty of room to move around.
