I was a bit nervous about smoke smell in the room, so I specifically asked the front desk for a unit that had been vacant the previous night—perfect choice! The room was immaculate and completely free of any lingering odors. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it even featured a little balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee with a view. The breakfast blew me away: warm congee, freshly ground soy milk and coffee, a great selection of fresh fruits, savory stir-fries, steamed dishes, and homemade desserts—all delicious and well-presented. The oversized, cozy sofa was the cherry on top; I just wanted to stay put all day. Great location, friendly staff, and incredible value for money. This is definitely a place I’ll return to next time I’m in Chengdu.

Staying at Yue Jing Homestay (Dongjiao Memory Branch) was a great choice—excellent value for money, spotless cleanliness, and attention to detail truly stood out. Even the bathroom heater was sparkling clean! Lying in bed, I could gaze out the window and enjoy the city skyline at night—so peaceful and scenic. The only minor downside? A few mosquitoes at night, but that’s a small trade-off for such a fantastic stay overall.

There are so many amazing dining options around that I didn’t even need to go far for meals. Despite being in a busy area, the windows effectively block outside noise, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly all night long—great sleep quality.
