To my great relief, every staff member involved—from housekeeping team member Shiyuan, shift manager Zhang Lei, security officer Qin Yanling, to front desk agent Zoey—went above and beyond to help locate and return my belongings. Not only was everything recovered, but the cash remained untouched. Under the leadership of Manager Bai Lu, this team demonstrated an outstanding level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care and responsibility in a luxury hotel setting. This experience made me fall even more in love with InterContinental, especially this property in Sanlitun. The location is unbeatable, the service is top-tier, and the attention to detail is unmatched. Even though it’s part of the Metropark brand, guests can still earn IHG Rewards points and enjoy member benefits—a nice perk many might not expect. The hotel has a bit of vintage character in its design, but it’s far from outdated; rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with Balmain amenities that add a touch of luxury. The scent of the toiletries is subtle yet refreshing. Most impressively, every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience worth repeating.
