Staying at Porta Inn Bentencho in Osaka was a great experience overall. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Expo site, and public transportation is super convenient for exploring the city. One thing I noticed was the air conditioning unit facing the window, which I hadn’t seen before in Japan—it’s a bit unusual but effective for cooling down the room during summer nights. Cleanliness was good; the room felt fresh and well-maintained, with clean linens and tidy surfaces. Breakfast was decent, though it ran out of onigiri after 8:30 AM, and they didn’t offer any replacements later. Also, the yogurt drinks were missing for two consecutive days—something to improve. Still, considering the price and location, this hotel offers excellent value, especially for visitors attending the Expo or looking for a budget-friendly stay in central Osaka. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff are friendly and helpful, with translation support available at the front desk, which makes communication easy for international guests. I loved that there was a bathtub in the room—perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was strong, and the TV even lets you stream YouTube and Netflix, which made my evenings so much more enjoyable. After four nights, my total came to around 8,000 TWD—absolutely fantastic value for money. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly stay in Osaka, this place is definitely worth considering.

Staying at Bijou Suites Lieto APM was a delightful experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with the added convenience of an in-room washing machine and complimentary laundry pods—perfect for longer stays. The self-contained kitchen is great for preparing meals, but honestly, you won’t want to cook when just next door is Risolla, a standout restaurant offering incredible Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and priced fairly. Clean, vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service make it a must-visit—definitely plan at least one meal there during your stay.

Staying at Minn Juso was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Umeda and right in the heart of a lively neighborhood. I loved how close it was to Don Quijote for last-minute snacks and essentials, and the local street food scene is fantastic. One standout was a nearby fried chicken shop—crispy on the outside, juicy inside—definitely worth a visit and possibly the best fried chicken I’ve had in Japan. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with excellent value for money. I’d absolutely stay here again if I’m back in Osaka. Perfect for travelers who want convenience without sacrificing authenticity.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process so much easier despite the language barrier—his warmth really stood out. Plus, it’s just a 3-4 minute walk to the station (follow the map in photo 1), making it super convenient for visiting Universal Studios. In the Nishinomiya area, this place offers great value and location. If you're looking for a cozy, authentic stay close to major attractions without the crowds or high prices, this is definitely worth considering.

Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. If I’m ever back in Osaka for another concert, this will definitely be my go-to hotel.
