I arrived in a bit of a panic because I was short 40 RMB for a long and tiring taxi ride, but the concierge, Ricky, stepped out to cover the difference from his own pocket—something that truly doesn’t happen anywhere else. After getting some Chinese yuan exchanged, I was able to repay him right away. The entire staff went above and beyond with their kindness and professionalism. Even though I only stayed one night, the breakfast experience on the 45th floor was unforgettable—vast, delicious, and served with a stunning 360-degree view of Guangzhou. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the city, and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and top-tier service.

My two-night stay at Baiyun Hotel Guangzhou was mostly a great experience, though it started with a hiccup. The first night was booked through a platform, and the business twin room had a strong odor that didn’t clear up even after hours of ventilation—seriously affected my sleep. On check-in for the second day, I mentioned the issue to Ms. Li Zhihong at the front desk, and she responded with genuine care and efficiency. She immediately upgraded me to a superior executive twin room on the 28th floor (room 2823), which made a huge difference. The room was spotless, bright, and well-maintained—exactly what I needed after a rough start. The housekeeping staff were friendly and responsive, always ready to assist. Breakfast at the 30th-floor buffet was excellent—wide variety, good quality, and well-organized despite the high turnout. The rooftop fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool are top-notch: clean, spacious, and professionally managed. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in many ways. Kudos to the team for turning a negative into a positive. Keep up the great work!

One of the most maternity-friendly hotels I've ever stayed at! The staff went above and beyond—helping with luggage every step of the way, which made the whole experience so much easier. We also enjoyed a fantastic complimentary photo session: the photographer was quick, talented, and captured beautiful, natural shots—plus they even provided stylish outfits for the shoot! The hotel is housed in a former Qing Dynasty general's residence, and the central garden is absolutely perfect for kids to run around and explore. I’ve heard great things about the Red Cotton Restaurant too—definitely planning to try it on my next visit. With its rich history, warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches, this place truly stands out. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.
