I couldn’t believe how much this hotel exceeded my expectations. Located right in the heart of Chengdu at Ke Hua North Road 69, it’s just an 800-meter walk to Line 8 metro station—super convenient for getting around the city. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was immersed in a beautifully crafted Han-Tang dynasty atmosphere. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming—the concierge, Chen Wei, stood out with his friendly demeanor and tall, approachable presence. He even handed me a traditional folding fan as a thoughtful gesture, which added such a poetic touch to the experience. What really stood out was their attention to detail: they proactively asked if I preferred a non-smoking floor, which made a huge difference for someone sensitive to odors. The location is unbeatable—right next to Sichuan University, with a lively hot pot restaurant just across the street. And yes, the live performances featuring stunningly dressed NPC actors throughout the lobby are absolutely worth experiencing—there’s real energy and cultural immersion here. Whether you’re looking for comfort, authenticity, or a unique stay that feels like stepping into history, this hotel delivers on every level. A truly memorable and human-centered stay.

Minya Hotel

Staying at Minya Hotel in Chengdu was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff—especially Miss Xu—made me feel truly welcome with her warm and attentive service. She personally arranged a spacious room for me and even took extra care to ensure my safety, which made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is perfect: just steps away from a metro station, and right next to a lively local food street. I could grab delicious street food or head out for sightseeing without any hassle. Everything was so convenient, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my visit and can’t wait to come back—this place has already earned a permanent spot on my travel list.

Millennium Hotel Chengdu

Staying at Millennium Hotel Chengdu (South Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The room I booked was a scenic view room with plenty of space, and the view across the street to Xianshentree Park was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning light or evening city views. However, the windows were completely non-operable, which made ventilation an issue. I understand safety concerns due to the high floor level, but allowing a small opening would be much more practical than having no airflow at all. The staff were excellent—especially the concierge who helped me collect my package, saving me a lot of time. For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.

The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, especially those at the Executive Lounge who made us feel truly welcomed. Their hospitality stood out throughout our stay. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the metro, which made exploring the city so convenient. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of options, but my favorite was the freshly squeezed carrot juice—it had a subtle hint of ginger that added a refreshing twist. During New Year’s celebration, the special dinner offerings were outstanding: the grilled fish and German-style crispy pork shoulder were both delicious and well-prepared. The pool area was spotless, and the hot spring pool maintained a perfect temperature—ideal for relaxing after a long day. Even the handmade wontons were fresh and flavorful. Overall, every aspect of dining, service, and comfort exceeded expectations. This hotel truly delivers a premium experience.

It’s been a while since my last business trip to Chengdu, and this two-day stay turned out to be a delightful surprise. I was originally planning to book at the Waldorf, but then discovered this Marriott – trusting the brand and following a friend’s recommendation, I decided to give it a try. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The room itself was outstanding – the bedding was perfect: the mattress had just the right firmness, and the down comforter was light yet cozy, ensuring a truly restful night’s sleep. Everything was spotless – immaculate cleanliness from top to bottom. Upon returning, I even found a lovely turn-down service waiting for me, which added such a warm, personal touch. The welcome fruit platter was a nice surprise too, especially the hotel’s own Aoyuan jelly tangerines – juicy, sweet, and fresh. From the moment I booked, Emily, the guest relations manager, reached out with a friendly phone call, making sure everything was taken care of. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable – just across the street from In99, where dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within easy reach. Yet, despite being in the heart of the action, the hotel somehow manages to feel calm and serene – more peaceful than the Waldorf right next door. This stay was truly flawless. If you’re ever in Chengdu for work or play, this is definitely a top pick.

Breakfast was outstanding: a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, both local and international, served with care. Room service arrived promptly and was professional throughout. I especially loved the 29th-floor lounge—elegant ambiance, stunning views of the city skyline, and attentive yet unobtrusive service. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing drink after a long day. This stay exceeded all expectations. I’m already looking forward to returning—the experience was flawless, and the value truly stands out.

Staying at Dading Century Hotel in Chengdu was an absolute breeze. I booked the Executive Twin Room, which offered generous space and a clean, spacious hallway with plush carpeting—very comfortable and welcoming. The hotel features a secure underground parking lot with staff assistance at the entrance, and best of all, it’s completely free. For travelers arriving by car, this is a major plus. Everything about the stay felt seamless and well thought out. A top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Chengdu.

Boyun · Jinjiang Hotel

My stay at Boyun · Jinjiang Hotel in Chengdu was absolutely outstanding! The room was much larger than expected, with modern amenities and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—every staff member, from front desk to housekeeping and dining staff, went above and beyond. I noticed I forgot my mouse pad, and without me even asking, a staff member kindly brought one up to my room. Later, when I mentioned I had no place to dry my laundry, they immediately provided a clothes rack. These little touches made such a big difference. It’s clear the team here genuinely cares about guest comfort. This level of attention to detail is rare and makes this hotel a standout. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.
